More than 200 students from Mount Horeb High School have been selected to represent their community on a world stage — the 2026 London New Year’s Day Parade. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will bring the school’s music department across the Atlantic, but the journey comes with a hefty price tag. Now, the school is calling on the community to help make this dream come true. The 2026 performance will mark the first time the Mount Horeb music department has returned to London since 2017. To help cover travel expenses and logistics, the Mount Horeb music department has launched a series of fundraising events including a silent auction that is live now through Saturday.
