On Thursday just after 4 AM A Lafayette County deputy responded to CTH G, Belmont Township for a one vehicle accident. 19-year-old Marlos A. Zuniga-Renderos of Belmont lost control of his vehicle and struck a pole, causing him to roll over. Renderos was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Renderos’s vehicle received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Renderos was cited for Operating without Valid License, Failure to Maintain Control, and Operating without Insurance. Belmont Fire and Belmont EMS assisted.
