Deadline approaches to apply for Wisconsin State Patrol

A key deadline for those wishing to become a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper or inspector is fast approaching. All applications for the 71st and 72nd Recruit Classes must be submitted by Jan. 19. Both in-state and out-of-state applicants are welcome. Applications open once a year beginning in October and lasting until early January. The 71st Recruit Class will be made up of people who are new to or have limited experience in law enforcement. The 72nd Recruit Class will be made up of people who have been certified and employed in law enforcement.
