On Friday, at 11:00 p.m., the Grant County Communication center received a traffic complaint of a reported intoxicated driver with a baby in the vehicle. The vehicle was located traveling South on County F. After observing traffic violations, a City of Fennimore Officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver was identified as 40-year-old Angelic Place of Lancaster. A minor passenger was in the vehicle. After an investigation, Place was arrested for Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants, 3rd offense, with a passenger less than 16 years old, and booked into the Grant County Jail. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Fennimore Police Department.
