On Tuesday just before 10 AM a Lafayette County deputy responded to Beebe RD in Benton Township for a one vehicle rollover. 20-year-old Derek J Adams of Cuba City was driving a garbage truck when it came into contact with ice causing the truck to rollover. Adams and his passenger, 42-year-old Justin Leslie of Hazel Green were uninjured. The garbage truck received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Benton First Response, Benton Fire Department, and Hazel Green EMS assisted on scene.
