Gov. Evers, U.S. Sen. Baldwin, and the Wisconsin DNR announced more than $273 Million to ensure clean, safe drinking water for Wisconsinites in 86 municipalities. Gratiot , Shullsburg, Patch Grove, Muscoda, Wauzeka, Highland, Hazel Green, Richalnd Center, and Argyle are all receiving funds to help replace water mains. Browntown will be receiving funds to rehab their water tower. Wiota, Lancaster, and Rewey are also receiving funds for water line work. The 2025 preliminary funding lists will be finalized following a 30-day window for municipalities to request a reevaluation of their priority score.
