One Vehicle Accident In Argyle

A deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to North State Street in the Village of Argyle Saturday around 3:30am for a one vehicle accident. 26 year old Dakotah Peterson of Chicago was traveling southbound in a 2023 Subaru when he fell asleep and left the roadway, striking a mailbox and fire hydrant. No injuries were reported and Peterson’s vehicle was towed from the scene with disabling damage. Peterson was cited for Failure to Maintain Control.
