Authorities said one person was killed in a Jackson County crash. Two other people were injured, one of whom was airlifted to University of Iowa Health Care and the other transported by EMS to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital. The crash happened Thursday near the intersection of 196th Avenue and Highway 61. According to an Iowa State Patrol crash report, a truck was traveling south on Highway 61 when it struck a tractor traveling in front of it. The names of the individuals involved have not yet been released.
