On Thursday at approximately 11:41am, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 133 at Jervis Street in the Village of Woodman. After investigation, it was found that 67-year-old Larry Bedward of Woodman, was operating a truck southbound on Highway 133 pulling a small utility trailer. 50-year-old Michael Tillotson of Bagley, was driving directly behind Bedward. Bedward slowed down and signaled to make a right turn onto Jervis Street. Tillotson stated he was talking to his juvenile passenger and did not see brake lights or a turn signal activate on Bedward’s vehicle. The front passenger side of Tillotson’s vehicle collided with the rear of Bedward’s trailer. All parties involved were wearing seatbelts and were uninjured in the crash. Bedward’s truck was not damaged in the crash; the trailer received disabling damage. Tillotson’s vehicle received moderate damage to the front end and was drivable. Tillotson was cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance and Non-Registration of Auto. He was also issued a written warning for Inattentive Driving.
