The city of Platteville is asking for public input on the future of the town pool, which was closed this summer due to structural issues. Residents can submit feedback at plattevillepoolsurvey.com. The survey asks about the frequency of pool usage, the adequacy of Platteville’s previous pool and future features you would like to see, among other questions. The deadline to answer the survey is Oct. 13. The survey is part of an effort by the newly-formed aquatic recreation subcommittee of Platteville’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation Committee to find a solution for the community regarding the pool. The subcommittee has until Feb. 17, 2025 to present a vision for a future pool to the parks committee.
