Dairy Days Weekend in Platteville is here. This is the 77th Annual Dairy Days. Events are happening today at Legion Field with a flea market, amusement rides and a beer tent. Saturday will feature the big parade down Main Street beginning at 9:30am. Pete Durni, who passed away in March of this year, will be recognized posthumously as the Parade Marshall. Pete’s daughter, Bailey will represent Pete in the parade. Also Saturday at Legion Field will be a dairy cattle show, plus arts and crafts. Saturday night is when you’ll see the truck and tractor pull and live music. Sunday the dairy goat show will take place along with live music at the Main Stage. Also Sunday is the 50th annual car show and swap meet at Platteville high School. The theme of this year’s Dairy Days is “LegenDAIRY Cheeseheads.”
