Police said a woman drove under the influence with a child in the car. 25-year-old Chelsea Schlarman of Dubuque was arrested just before 11 PM Thursday in the 100 block of Locust Street on charges of operating under the influence and neglect of a dependent person. Court documents state that Schlarman was driving the wrong way on Locust Street with her 6-year-old son in the vehicle. A police officer pulled her over and Schlarman displayed signs of intoxication, documents state. Schlarman was arrested and taken to Dubuque Law Enforcement Center. A breath test showed her blood alcohol content was 0.201%, documents state.
