On Monday just after 10 PM Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a motorcycle crash at the intersection of highway 60 and highway 61 in the Township of Marietta. An investigation determined that 43-year-old David Fillyaw of Muscoda, was operating a motorcycle at an excessively high rate of speed westbound across the Wisconsin river bridge on highway 61 near Boscobel with his passenger 42-year-old Aleisha Bell of Muscoda. Fillyaw traveled over the bridge, crossed both lanes, and crashed head-on into a rock wall. Fillyaw and Bell were wearing helmets. Fillyaw and Bell were ejected from the motorcycle sustaining life-threatening injuries. Fillyaw and Bell were both pronounced dead at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Boscobel Police Department, Boscobel Fire Department, Boscobel Rescue Squad, Steuben First Responders, Wisconsin State Patrol, Milo’s Towing Service, Crawford County Coroner, and Kendall Funeral Services.
