Sunday Rollover in Grant County

On Sunday at 6:48 A.M., 27-year-old Elizabeth Gehler of Mount Hope, was driving south on Shady Dell Rd in Little Grant Township. Gehler was driving too fast to stop at the stop sign on Shady Dell Rd at Badger Rd. Gehler swerved into the northbound lane and then continued into the east ditch, where she struck a snow bank and rolled. The vehicle came to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Gehler wasn’t wearing her seat belt and was uninjured. The vehicle was a total loss and was removed from the scene by Collisiion Specialists. Gehler received citations for not wearing her seat belt and no insurance.
