On Monday around 4:20pm, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a one vehicle crash with injury at the intersection of Ipswitch Road and Center Drive Road. 73 year old Mary Olson of Belmont was driving east on Ipswitch Road when she failed to stop at the stop sign. Olson’s vehicle crashed into the ditch and continued into a field. Olson was taken to Southwest Health in Platteville for her injuries. Her passenger was not injured. Assisting at the scene was Southwest EMS, the Platteville Fire Department and Precision Towing. The crash remains under investigation.
