As of this morning, the river stage at Prairie du Chien is 20.7 feet, the third-highest river level in city history. Some streets will be opened as the water continues to recede. Debris removal will start as the water recedes. Residents are asked to be patient while crews attempt to accomplish what they can while still dealing with high water. City and County Officials will continue to meet throughout the cleanup efforts and share updated items through social media and web pages.
