Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County in Darlington has announced that it will launch a rebranding initiative to coincide with its expansion into a larger facility. The rebranding will include a new name and logo and will be led by a committee of hospital staff members, with involvement from the community. Memorial Hosptial of Lafayette County is partnering with a Madison-based branding and marketing agency to develop and execute the rebranding. Hospital CEO Kathy Kuepers says the rebranding will reflect a vision of ensuring quality healthcare and economic growth for generations to come as well as honor the hospital’s roots in the community. The construction of MHLC’s new hospital and clinic is scheduled to start this summer and is expected to be providing services in the new space by spring 2025. The 81,000-square-foot facility will be located on Darlington’s south side. Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County was established in 1952 and is the only county-owned hospital in the state of Wisconsin.
