More Details Released About Missing Richland Center Man’s Death

Investigators with the Richland County Sheriff’s Office released more information into the death of Francis Johnston, who first went missing February 28. Deputies responded to a bridge on State Highway 171 on Saturday afternoon. They found the vehicle belonging to Francis Johnston underneath the bridge. The vehicle could not be seen from the road. Deputies searched the vehicle and found no sign of Johnston. They found him dead in the creek nearby. Johnston was last seen leaving the Eagles Club in Viroqua around 5pm Monday.
