The number of confirmed deaths from COVID-19 has risen to 71 in Wisconsin – and there are now more than 23-hundred confirmed cases across the state. According to numbers from state and county health officials, the new figures showed a jump of 155 cases from Saturday to Sunday. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services says roughly 25-thousand people have tested negative for coronavirus.
Locally – Grant County reported its 3rd confirmed case on Sunday, Iowa County reports 3 cases, Richland County with 3 cases, and Crawford County reports 2 cases. In Iowa, Dubuque County has 24 cases, there are 17 cases in Allamakee County, and Clayton County has 4 cases. In northwest Illinois – Jo Daviess County has 5 confirmed cases.
