A woman accused of killing her mother in the Village of Blue Mounds earlier this month was booked into the Dane County Jail Monday night. Online jail records show Sierra Schoonover was booked into the jail just before 9 p.m. She faces tentative charges of first-degree intentional homicide stemming from the death of her mother. 54-year-old Heather Schoonover was found dead on April 14 at a home on Smokey Mountain Trail. Her 31-year-old daughter Sierra was identified as a person of interest and later taken into custody following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 78 near Blue Rock Road. Sierra was taken to a local hospital following a crash.
