On Tuesday at 12:19 AM The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a disturbance near the intersection of Clowney Street and Chestnut Street in the City of Mineral Point. Officers from the Mineral Point Police Department and deputies from the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. As a result of the incident, 42-year-old Matthew M. Rohowetz of Mineral Point, was arrested on 3 counts of Felony Bail Jumping, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. Rohowetz was transported to the Iowa County Jail, where he remains in custody at this time.
