Multiple agencies respond to grass fire in Hollandale

On Wednesday at 4:50 PM The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of an out-of-control grass fire at the intersection of McKenna Road and County Road K in the Township of Hollandale. The Argyle Fire Department, Barneveld Fire Department, Blanchardville Fire Department, Dodgeville EMS, Dodgeville Fire Department, Hollandale Fire Department, Hollandale First Responders, Mineral Point Fire Department, Mount Horeb Fire Department, New Glarus Fire Department, and Ridgeway Fire Department responded to the scene. The situation was brought under control, and all units returned to quarters. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
