Platteville School District officials have announced the next principal of the district’s early learning center. Laura Rhode will take the helm of Neal Wilkins Early Learning Center beginning in the 2025-2026 school year. According to a press release, Rhode has 20 years of experience in the educational field and currently serves as a literacy and instructional coach for the Dodgeville School District, a role she has held since 2016. In that position, she worked with kindergarten through 12th grade students. She will replace Tammy Haag, who announced her retirement earlier this year after 36 years with the Platteville district.
