Packers surprise Abundant Life Christian School

Cheers and claps filled the gymnasium at Abundant Life Christian School on Wednesday afternoon as the Challenger community was surprised by several players from the Green Bay Packers. Mark Murphy, Tucker Kraft and Ahman Green, among others, visited the school as a part of the Tailgate Tour. School officials said the visit was kept a secret from staff and students. The special surprise comes as the community continues to heal from last year’s shooting. A teacher and a student were killed in the Dec. 16 shooting, and six people were injured. Five individuals were previously released from care.
