Driver wanted on warrants leads law enforcement on pursuit in Dubuque

Police said a driver wanted on warrants led law enforcement on a brief pursuit in Dubuque. 33-year-old Ashley L. Croft was arrested at 9:47 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of North Booth Street on charges of eluding and driving while barred as well as warrants charging driving while barred, fourth-degree criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Court documents state that a Dubuque Police Department officer attempted to stop Croft’s vehicle in the area of East 16th and Elm streets. Croft failed to stop for the police patrol vehicle’s emergency lights and siren, driving the speed limit to North Booth Street. Croft’s vehicle stopped and she was apprehended.
