Authorities arrested a Richland Center woman twice in one day for suspected OWI. The Richland County Sheriff’s Office says court staff told them a woman had shown up to the courtroom under the influence Tuesday morning. Deputies made contact with that woman, 60-year-old Julie Arbegust, who had allegedly driven to the courthouse impaired by the use of drugs. Deputies booked Arbegust in jail for OWI 3rd offense and was released to a responsible party. According to the sheriff’s office, immediately after being released, Arbegust was seen getting into her vehicle and driving away from the courthouse. She was found by deputies a second time and arrested again. Arbegust faces two counts of OWI 3rd offense and misdemeanor bail jumping.
