Multiple south central Wisconsin agencies are reporting issues with their 911 system or non-emergency lines Wednesday. Iowa County Emergency Management said around 10:25 a.m. that its 911 system was down. Calls to that line will automatically transfer to Lafayette County. Richland County Sheriff’s Office indicated before 12:20 p.m. that its 911 lines were down because of an outage, which also impacted its general phone line for certain carriers. The agency asked people to call the backup phone number, 608-475-4451, if they need to get through to someone. In Columbia County, the Sheriff’s Office said its non-emergency administrative lines were down.
