During a show in Gilmer, Texas on Saturday (April 5), Braxton Keith was forced to briefly stop his performance of “Honky Tonk City” due to unruly fans who were throwing beers on stage. The country singer – who is currently touring the US in support of his recent EP, Blue – shared a TikTok video capturing the incident, where he berates members of the crowd who were hurling their beers towards the stage, nearly hitting the band in the process. “Hey listen up,” Keith said. “I didn’t come here to get beer cans thrown at me, alright? Don’t be throwing f—ing beers out here.” Keith then singled out a fan in front of the stage who was attending her first country show. “This little girl right here’s never been to a country concert before, and it’s her first damn time, okay? We’re gonna have a good show for her, okay?” Keith reinforced his point in the caption to his video, calling it “unacceptable behavior for any concert.” (People)
