Lafayette Hospital + Clinics staff members are nearly ready to move into their new facility. The $64.8 million, 84,000- square-foot hospital has been completed at the intersection of Wisconsin 23 and Lafayette County K. It replaces the old Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County facility and is nearly double the size. Hospital leaders hosted a ceremony and open house Wednesday to welcome the community ahead of the official move, which will take place later this month. The new facility will add offerings such as a 3T MRI, a decontamination room, an enclosed garage for ambulance arrivals and an enclosed waiting room. The move into the new facility will begin April 11 and continue through April 13. The emergency department will begin services at the new building April 13, while the hospital’s other services open to the public the morning of April 14.
