16-year-old Sophia Martha Franklin has been found safe, and her alleged abductor has been arrested, according to the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network. The Beaver Dam teenager was last seen at her home on February 2nd. An amber alert for her was issued on February 3rd. Beaver Dam police said at approximately 11:40 p.m. the police department was notified that deputies of Sarpy County Sheriff’s responded to a tip of a possible sighting of Franklin near Omaha, Nebraska. Law enforcement made contact with Day and he was taken into custody. Day is charged with two counts of child enticement and two counts of abduction of a child. Day faces a fine of up to a maximum of $100,000 and a maximum sentence of 25 years imprisonment. Franklin was taken to a secure facility to await re-unification with her family.
