The sale of a local health care provider and its integration with a major health care entity is expected to be finalized next month. The integration of Grand River Medical Group and UnityPoint Clinic is set for May 4. According to a press release, GRMG physicians, advanced practice providers and team members will become part of UnityPoint Clinic, UnityPoint Health’s multi-specialty medical group. Officials previously stated that a total of 50 providers and 280 care team members from GRMG will make the move, and clinic locations will be owned and operated by UnityPoint Clinic. The release states that although patients will notice new signage, clinic names and logos on buildings, appointment reminders and billing, all clinic locations, hours and phone numbers will remain the same.
