On Saturday (March 29), rising country star Laci Kaye Booth fulfilled a lifelong dream as she took the stage at the Grand Ole Opry. The Geffen Records artist was dressed in a vintage Bob Mackie gown, exuding classic country elegance and modern star power during her performances of “Daddy’s Mugshot” and Patsy Cline‘s classic, “Crazy.” Reflecting on the emotional significance of the night, Booth said, “Tonight I felt the full weight of a little girl’s dream comin’ true. It lit a fire in me all over again — the same one that carried me to Nashville in the first place. I’ll never forget the love in that room, and I’m so thankful for every soul who showed up to share it with me.” The Texas native first caught the music world’s attention while competing on American Idol, displaying a vocal talent that led to Booth receiving her Opry invitation from fellow Texan Parker McCollum a month ago while opening for him on tour.
