Work on a more than 7-month $21 million project on Highway 131 in Crawford County starts Monday. The Wisconsin DOT says the project will reconstruct a stretch of 131 between Highway 60 in Wauzeka and Pleasant Street in Soldiers Grove. In addition to replacing pavement, the project will also replace six bridges and 11 culvert pipes. While under construction, 131 will be closed for through-traffic. Traffic will be detoured using 60 and 61. The DOT expects the project to be fully completed in mid-November.
