Garth Brooks was visibly moved as his wife Trisha Yearwood received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday (March 24). Surrounded by loved ones, the 60-year-old Yearwood was honored with touching speeches by country singers Carly Pearce and Reba McEntire, while Brooks, 63, wiped away tears during the ceremony. When Yearwood took the podium, she praised her husband of two decades for his unwavering support and encouragement, while acknowledging his genuine excitement for her accomplishments. “That one has really been a cheerleader and as many accolades and awards as he has won, I never see him get more excited than he does when I receive something,” Yearwood said of Brooks during her speech. “For all the people that want this for me, nobody wants it more than you. I appreciate you for being my support.” (People)
