Iowa State University Extension and Outreach of Dubuque County is offering free sweet potato plants to local residents. Program participants will receive eight plant bundles of Beauregard sweet potatoes and growing season updates. Local pickup locations for plants include: the Asbury, Epworth, Farley, Holy Cross and Peosta branches of Dubuque County Library District, Carnegie-Stout Public Library, Cascade Public Library, Dubuque County ISU Extension and Outreach Office, and James Kennedy Public Library in Dyersville. Registration is required by May 14. Additional information and registration can be found online at extension.iastate.edu/
