Police said a motorcyclist was injured Friday in a Dubuque crash. 32-year-old Jalysa J. Turner of Cuba City, Wis., suffered minor injuries and was transported by the Dubuque Fire Department to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital. The incident occurred at around 1:15 p.m. at the intersection of Elm and 16th streets. According to a Dubuque Police Department crash report, Turner was driving north on Elm Street and ran a red light at the 16th Street intersection. In order to avoid a collision with a vehicle driving west on 16th Street, Turner crashed her motorcycle. Turner was cited with failure to provide proof of financial liability, operation without a registration card, no valid driver’s license and failure to respond to a steady red light.
