In Wisconsin, Lafayette County’s unemployment rate was 3.4% in January, according to the state’s Department of Workforce Development. The county’s unemployment rate was 2.1% in December and 2.5% in January 2024. Crawford County’s unemployment rate was 5.7% in January, an increase from 4.1% in December and 5% a year ago. Grant County’s rate was 3.7% in January, up from 3.1% in December and 2.9% in January 2024. Iowa County’s rate was 3.4% in January, compared to 2.5% in December and 2.9% January 2024. Statewide, Wisconsin’s unemployment rate was 3.2% in January, compared to 3.1% in December and 2.9% in January 2024.
