Friends of Belmont Mound State Park installing trail signage

The Friends of Belmont Mound State Park will be installing trail signage and rest stop benches along the 2.5 miles of trails at the park in 2025. In addition to directional “You Are Here” map signage at trail intersections and rest stop benches along the trails, there will be informational signs at various points of interest. The informational signage will be both historical and environmentally focused. To create the relevant signage, Friends of Belmont Mound State Park is seeking pictures, stories and collected information about Belmont Mound for potential inclusion on the signage. The group has started a photo contest for pictures of or at Belmont Mound. Winners get their pictures on the signage and a Wisconsin State Park Annual Admission sticker.
