On Wednesday at 2:26 P.M., 57-year-old Scott Carlson of Davenport IA., was driving north on Highway 61, in Liberty Township, when he lost control of the vehicle on the slick highway. Carlson slid into the ditch on the east side of the road and struck a fence belonging to Beverly Lane. Carlson was wearing his seat belt and the vehicle and fence received minor damage.
