911 calls in Iowa County down year to date from 2024

Iowa County 911 Communication Center had 503 calls for service from March 9 to March 15. According to a Facebook post from the Iowa County Sheriff, some of the leading calls for service were: 38 Medical Emergencies, 95 Traffic Stops, 18 911 Hang Ups, 13 Crashes, and 6 Disturbance. Year to date for 2025, they have had 4,584 calls for service. Year to date in 2024, there were 4,579 calls for service. That means an increase of 5 calls for service over this time period in 2025. This past week 17 people were booked into the Iowa County Jail for various offenses/holds.
