Zendaya Joins ‘Shrek 5’ Voice Cast As Shrek’s Daughter

Zendaya has been announced as a new cast member for Shrek 5, where she will portray the daughter of Shrek and Fiona. The movie is set to be released on December 23, 2026, marking the first installment in the series since Shrek Forever After in 2010. Plot details have not yet been revealed. The Shrek franchise, based on William Steig’s 1990 book, has been highly successful, with the original film winning the first Oscar for Best Animated Feature and subsequent sequels grossing billions worldwide. Zendaya’s involvement in Shrek 5 adds to her already busy acting schedule, including upcoming roles in The Odyssey and the next Spider-Man movie. (Deadline)
