‘Rust’ Documentary Focused On Halyna Hutchins In Works At Hulu

Hulu has announced the documentary film Last Take: Rust and the Story of Halyna, shedding light on the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins during a shooting on the set of Rust involving Alec Baldwin. Directed and produced by Rachel Mason, the documentary will delve into the personal accounts and aftermath of the incident, incorporating perspectives from those directly impacted and behind-the-scenes materials from the film set, as well as Hutchins’ personal archives. This project is one of two documentaries in the works concerning Hutchins, with director Rory Kennedy also developing a film about Baldwin’s role in the tragedy. (THR)
