Amber Alert issued for 16-year-old from Beaver Dam

An Amber Alert has been issued for a pregnant teenager from Beaver Dam who is believed to be with a 40-year-old man. 16-year-old Sophia Franklin was last seen Sunday night at her home in Beaver Dam. She is three months pregnant, according to a Facebook post from the Beaver Dam Police Department. Authorities believe she is with 40-year-old Gary F. Day, who is the father of Sophia’s unborn child. He was last seen at Sophia’s home Monday morning. As of 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Beaver Dam Police Department said the two are still missing. Day and Sophia have a no-contact order. They are believed to be traveling in a 2014 black Buick LaCrosse with Arkansas license plate BBR 20L.
