One of the students hurt in the Abundant Life Christian School shooting last month was released from American Family Children’s Hospital Thursday and is at home recovering, a UW Health spokesperson said. Another student is still at the hospital and is in good condition. Two people died and six others were hurt in the shooting at the Madison school on Dec. 16. The shooter, 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, took her own life. A UW Health spokesperson said the families of both students requested privacy as they continue to recover. The family said they are “thankful for the countless UW Health Kids doctors, nurses and staff for saving their child’s life.”
