Giannis Antetokounmpo is in the middle of another outstanding season, and his efforts were recognized on Monday. Antetokounmpo was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 13-19, the NBA announced. It’s the second time this season that he has earned the honor and the 25th time in his career. The Greek Freak is riding a streak of 13 consecutive double-doubles, the second-longest active streak in the league this season. He averaged 32 points, 12.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists over the Bucks’ four games last week, all of which ended with victories.
