On Saturday at 9:48 PM the Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies and K9 Sam conducted a traffic stop on Highway 18-151 near County Road YZ in the Township of Dodgeville. As a result of the stop, two arrests were made. 28-year-old Shaquille R Island of Chicago, IL was arrested on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of THC. Island was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was later released on bond. 22-year-old Jashonna J Vaughn of Dubuque, IA, was arrested on the charge of Operating While Under the Influence. Vaughn was later released to a responsible party.
