Eastman man arrested for OWI 2nd offense

On Sunday at 5:16 AM Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a one-vehicle crash on Highway 18-151 near Mile Marker 55 in the Township of Ridgeway. Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies, Ridgeway Fire Department, Ridgeway First Responders, Barneveld Area Rescue Squad and WI State Patrol responded to the scene. The driver, 23-year-old Antonio Romero Porras of Eastman was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Romero Porras was arrested on the charge of Operating While Under the Influence 2nd offense and was cited for Operating W/O Valid License (3rd+ in 3 years) and Failure to Keep Vehicle Under Control.
