A La Crosse teen was cited for OWI after escaping a fiery crash in Crawford County last Monday afternoon. According to a release Saturday, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Tauren Miller-Amunson was driving a vehicle on Highway 18 when he left the road near the Town of Bridgeport and crashed into a densely wooded area, hitting several trees. The car became engulfed in flames, but not before Miller-Amunson was able to get out of the vehicle. Miller-Amunson suffered minor injuries. The Bridgeport Fire Department was able to put out the fire. Miller-Amunson was cited for OWI and failure to keep vehicle under control.
