The Iowa-Grant School District has submitted a letter to the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin in opposition to the Badger Hollow Wind Farm. At the December 9th school board meeting the Iowa-Grant School board voted to adopt a resolution opposing the Badger Hollow Wind Farm. In the resolution the board references noise, shadow flicker, infrasound, and electrical interference as some of the reasons they oppose the wind farm. They also cite wind farms’ impact on residual development as having a potential impact on student enrollment. The resolution opposes development of the Badger Hollow Wind Farm withing the district and within three miles of the exterior boundary of the school district property.
