On Saturday around noon, the Grant County Sheriffs received a report of a crash on County O and near Elm Rd in Paris Township. When the deputy arrived on scene, and spoke to the driver, 18-year-old Wyatt Udelhoven, Udelhoven informed the deputy he had been traveling west on County O, was driving too fast, and lost control while negotiating a curve. The vehicle slid off the roadway into an embankment and rolled several times. There were two other juvenile passengers in the vehicle. One of them sustained minor injuries and was transported to Southwest Health Center in Platteville. Udelhoven’s vehicle suffered heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene. As a result of the crash, Udelhoven was issued citations for operating left of center, and for unreasonable & imprudent speed. Assisting at the scene were Potosi EMS, Potosi Fire Department, and Donnie’s Tire and Auto out of Dickeyville.
